Keel a fish

How a fin change transforms the board you already own.

A fish was designed for keel fins. The flat tail, the wide point, the swallow — they all want a long base, deep-foiled fin you can drive off. Modern thrusters made fish 'easier' to surf. Keels make fish feel right.

Lock-in through bottom turns. A drawn-out cutback. Acceleration off the lip. A keel has more drive than any twin you'll ride. The trade is turn radius — keels carve, they don't pivot. That's the whole point.

If you've only ever surfed your fish on twins or quads, you've never really surfed your fish. Drop a keel set in. Then go find a peeler.

Common questions

  • Will this fit my board?

Most likely, yes. Check the fin system on your board's centre box or side bites — US Box, Futures-style, or FCS I-style. Each product page lists exactly which system it fits. If you're not sure, our Fit & shipping guide will narrow it down in 30 seconds.

  • How long does it take to ship?

In-stock and made-on-demand orders ship in 7–14 business days. Preorders ship with the next batch — typically 4–8 weeks. Each product page shows the current stock state and batch progress. We email you when the order moves through each stage.

  • What if I don't like the feel?

Unused fins in original condition can be returned within 30 days for a full refund or exchange. Tried them in the water and they're not for you? Email us — we'll figure something out.

  • Are these proper fibreglass fins?

They are proper fibreglass fins with visible weave, clean colour, and hardware where the system needs it. The point is simple: quality fins should feel good, look good, and not be priced like jewellery.

  • Why are some fins priced lower than others?

Some fins are in stock, some are made on demand, and some colours/templates may open as preorders. The product page shows the current lead time before you buy. Read the full Feel Guide for context.
